Training modules on treatment of uncertainty

Theoretical modules

  • MS : Data statistical analysis, 1350 € (2 days)
  • MM : Metamodeling, 1350 € (2 days)
  • MP1 : How to propagate uncertainty, 850 € (1 day)
  • MP2 : Uncertainty ranking, 1350 € (2 days)
  • MP3 : Reliability analysis, 1350 € (2 days)

Application Modules

  • OPS : PhimecaSoft, a graphical interface for robust engineering, 1350 € (2 days)
  • OP1 : Python, scientific basics, 1350 € (2 days)
  • OP2 : Python and OpenTURNS for the treatment of uncertainties, 1350 € (2 days)
  • OP3 : Python for the statistics, 1350 € (2 days)
  • OM : Modelica and Python, 1350 € (2 days)

Training program

The registration on a whole module ( 2 theoretical modules and one application module) leads to a 10% discount in the total price of the training process. The trainee has up to a year to participate in the 2 theoretical modules and one application module of its choice. Each module is given twice a year.

  • P1 : Uncertainty modeling and propagation (MS + MP1 + OPS or OP2)
  • P2 : Uncertainty ranking (MS + MP2 + OPS or OP2)
  • P3 : Reliability analysis by mechanic-probabilistic coupling (MS + MP3 + OPS or OP2)
  • P4 : Probabilistic approach to model systems (MS + OP1 + OM)

Tools and applications

The training days are composed in equal proportions of a theoretical part and practical applications on concrete cases. Practical works take place on computers provided by Phimeca Engineering. They appeal to Pyhton and OpenTURNS programming languages as well as PhimacaSoft software.

Salomé-Méca Modules

  • S1 : Beginning with the Salomé-Méca platform, 1350 € (2 days)
    • Introduction to the platform modules
    • Geometry module GEOM
    • Mesh module SMESH
    • Module of Code_Aster FEM software
    • Post-processing module PARAVIS
    • Implementation of a complete mechanical study
  • S2 : Structural elements in the Salomé-Méca platform, 850 € (1 day)
    • Design of a conformal mesh using a geometry defined by an IGES format file
    • Structural elements in Code_Aster
    • Implementation of a mechanical non-linear study
